Mhari Coxon is the past president of the Oral Health Foundation.

Mhari worked in dentistry from 1992-2010, with a portfolio of career progression across dental practices, associations, faculties, and hospital environments.

Mhari remains a registered dental hygienist, moving to a second career in healthcare marketing in 2010.  She is currently a Group Marketing Director at Adelphi, a leading pharmaceutical consultancy group.  Prior to her present role, Mhari has been a marketing manager for some of the UK’s most well-known oral care brands, including Johnson & Johnson, GSK and Philips.

Mhari is also a member at the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the College of General Dentists. 

With a longstanding passion for oral healthcare, Mhari was officially appointed as president on 6 December when the board of trustees met at the Royal Society of Public Health.

Mhari first became a trustee for the Oral Health Foundation in 2014.
