Product accreditation Information for manufacturers Fees and requirements Fees and requirements The Oral Health Foundation Accreditation Scheme has a simple fee structure made up of two parts. These fees support the independent assessment process and the continued right to use the accreditation logo on packaging and marketing materials. Panel fee This is a one-off fee for the review of your product. It is paid before the accreditation panel assesses your submission. It covers the cost of independent expert review and is non-refundable, whether or not the product is approved. Annual licence fee This fee applies only after a product has been approved. It grants the manufacturer the right to use the Oral Health Foundation accreditation logo on pack and in marketing for a full year. The level of the annual fee depends on factors such as: Whether the product is an own-brand or a major brand. Whether approval is for a single product or a range. Whether the accreditation is for the UK market only or for international use. For companies seeking to market accredited products internationally, the annual fee is tailored to the territory size (e.g., the number of countries and population covered). Annual review Licence fees are reviewed each year. If the product formulation, branding or marketing claims change, additional assessment may be required to maintain accreditation.
