Work with us Who we are Annual review Annual review Our Annual Review sets out how the Oral Health Foundation has worked over the past year to improve oral health, reduce inequalities and enhance quality of life for people across the UK and beyond. Oral health plays a vital role in how we eat, speak, smile and connect with others. Yet too many people continue to experience pain, disease and barriers to care. During 2024–25, our focus has been on turning ambition into action. Highlights This year’s review showcases the impact of our national campaigns and programmes, including: National Smile Month – Feed Your Smile, which placed nutrition at the heart of oral health. Mouth Cancer Action Month, our most impactful campaign to date, driving awareness, early recognition and action. The continued growth of Safe Smiles and Dental Buddy, helping people of all ages make informed choices and build healthier habits. Strengthening trust and widening access The Annual Review also highlights how we are: Strengthening trust through our Accreditation programme. Expanding access to education and guidance for communities most in need. Supporting professionals, carers, schools and workplaces with practical, evidence-based resources. Looking ahead All of this work is underpinned by our Strategy to 2030, which sets out how we will continue to deliver impact through people, partnerships and policy change. Our Annual Review is a snapshot of progress, learning and ambition – and a reflection of the people, professionals and organisations who make our work possible.
