In this role, you’ll represent the Oral Health Foundation in interviews and news features linked to active campaigns and appeals. This is particularly valuable when journalists request voices from specific areas or communities. What the role involves You’ll help us to: Take part in local and regional media interviews (TV, radio, online and print). Share approved campaign messages clearly and accurately. Connect with audiences by speaking in plain, relatable English. Support timely press requests when your region is a strong fit. Represent the Oral Health Foundation professionally and responsibly. Skills we’re looking for Comfortable speaking on camera or live audio. Able to explain topics simply, without jargon. Reliable and responsive to briefings. Confident working from approved messaging. Fluent English speaker. Support and briefing All spokespersons receive: Full briefings before interviews. Approved key messages to work from. Ongoing support from our press team. This is a campaign-based role and interview opportunities will change throughout the year, depending on regional media needs. Availability and time commitment Media interviews may be planned in advance, but many requests come with short notice and quick deadlines. We’re looking for volunteers who can be responsive to briefings and available for fast turnarounds when needed.
