A Silver Sponsor of National Smile Month, Regenerate Enamel Science joined the campaign this year and did a terrific job in helping us raise awareness of important health issues and make a positive difference to the oral health of so many people.

Both of us believe in engaging and educating people about their oral health and want our work together to have a positive impact on some of the most at need areas and regions in the country.

Regenerate Enamel Science is a toothpaste which helps provide more protection for the enamel on our teeth. Our partnership is a good fit because dental erosion is highly topical right now and we are seeing first-hand the damage caused to people’s teeth caused by acidic drinks.

This year, we worked together to develop a piece of research to understand what people know about dental erosion. We found an alarming lack of awareness about erosion, it’s prevalence and consequences. What’s more, we also identified the frequency of which highly erosive drinks like fruit juices and fizzy drinks are consumed.

As a result of these findings, we spoke to journalists and publications about our severe concerns on the potential irreversible damage these drinks could be having on our teeth.  Our actions resulted in dozens of articles across the national press raising awareness about the dangers of acidic drinks and impact which dental erosion could have on our health. We then helped to provide information and education highlighting healthier alternatives and the benefits they can have, not only for our mouth but our overall wellbeing too.
