Formed in 1880, the BDA is the professional association and trade union organisation for dentists. The organisation represents all fields of dentistry including general practice, community dental services, the armed forces, hospitals, academia, public health and research, and its 23,000 members can receive advice on all of these areas. Basing themselves in London, they represent dentists at national and local level, attempting to ensure that their views and concerns are accounted for. Read more
