We have a great issue for you this July, covering a range of hot topics in the world of oral health and give you great advice that will help you gain a healthy smile.

Some welcome news that arrived this month is the announcement that boys in England will soon be offered the free vaccination against HPV for the very first time.

Confirmation of this came from Public Health England and it has been roundly welcomed by passionate health campaigners across the UK. The Oral Health Foundation would like to take this opportunity to encourage all parents of eligible boys and girls to take up the offer of this potentially life-saving vaccine.

In other news, we look at a study which finds a link between poor oral health and liver cancer.

We have also recently published a new set of global guidelines for denture adhesives. There are several benefits to using denture adhesives correctly, which is part of why these new guidelines are so important.

Please enjoy this edition of Word of Mouth and thank you once again for your ongoing support.
