Who does not love a good general knowledge quiz?

It is something that everyone can get involved with and can provide an opportunity for you to get to know some of the people in your local community.

Create your own quiz on any topic (or topics) and invite people to join your virtual quiz through a live stream or a video chat on Zoom or Skype.

Just make sure that you ask for a small donation from each participant as an entry fee.

What you need

• An online fundraising page (create one here).

• Plenty of quiz questions to ask. Source these online or through a quiz book. Use your imagination!

• Willing friends, family or people in your local community who want a good virtual quiz.

• Prize for the winner, maybe a gift card that you can buy online.

Organising your quiz

• Firstly, decide on a theme for your quiz and get a list of questions and answers. They could be on general knowledge, sport, food, geography or all the above. Perhaps you do more than one quiz!

• Consider what prize the winner (or winning team) will get.

• Find a way to host your quiz online. Do you want to live stream on social media or try a video conferencing program like Zoom or Skype? 

• Once you have sorted the logistics, tell us about it! Create a fundraising page and get in touch with us by emailing [email protected]. We're happy to help you promote your fundraising efforts and encourage people to take part.

• Invite friends, family and anybody else to take part, let them know there is a small entry fee.

• Hold the quiz and have a fantastic time. 

• Collect and send your sponsorship money to us so we can continue to bring better oral health to all.
